27/28 Take Stock in Children Mentor

Description

Mentors support students by providing guidance, encouragement, and positive role modeling. Through regular meetings, mentors help students build confidence, set goals, develop life skills, and stay on track academically while preparing for future education and career opportunities.

Time Commitment:
  • Mentors are matched with 8th grade students in Spring 2027
  • Mentors are required to meet with their student a minimum of 16 sessions per academic year
  • Each session must be a minimum 30 minutes


Requirements:
  • Resident of Lee or Collier County for at least 2 years (year-round or seasonal residency)
  • Successfully complete clearance process including background checks and reference checks
